DJ Rates by Experience
  • Entry-Level DJs (1–3 years): $300 – $700 per event
  • Mid-Level DJs (3–7 years): $700 – $1,200 per event
  • Professional DJs (7+ years or club/event specialists): $1,200 – $2,500+ per event

Event Factors That Influence Cost
  • Hours of Service – Most DJ packages cover 4–5 hours. Additional hours typically cost $100 – $250/hour.
  • Size of Crowd – Larger crowds (200+ guests) often require upgraded speakers and subwoofers, which can increase pricing by $200 – $500.
  • Sound System Rental Costs – If not included, expect to pay:
  • Basic PA system (50–100 guests): $150 – $300/day
  • Full sound setup with subwoofers (200–500 guests): $500 – $1,000/day
  • Wireless microphones and monitors: $50 – $150 each
Travel Costs

For events 50+ miles outside the DJ’s base, travel costs may be added:

  • Mileage: $0.65 – $1.00/mile
  • Overnight lodging (if needed): $100 – $200/night
